Masseria in POLIGNANO-A-MARE

Commissioned by the owners following major restoration works. The film was built around elements that define Apulia’s identity – sacred calm, light, stone, and the quiet presence of religious symbols rooted in everyday life.

Using Ave Maria was intentional: not for ceremony, but as a tribute to the region’s spiritual heritage and to the intimate relationship southern homes maintain with tradition.

The goal was simple: capture the masseria as it is today – renewed, dignified, and alive with the atmosphere that belongs only to this part of Italy.

Shot as a cinematic memory rather than documentation, this project preserves the transformation and honours the authentic character of Apulian architecture.
